The first 15-minute assessment consultation is free. Then, if you decide to do therapy sessions, individual sessions are $250 each for 45 minutes.
If you qualify for Out-of-Network benefits, sessions can be reduced drastically depending on your insurance to under $100 each. -
The frequency of sessions is established depending on each client’s individual needs. I tend to work with clients starting with Weekly sessions to establish a therapeutic alliance, assess for key areas of concern, and to collaboratively generate a treatment plan.
The trend has been that once clients obtain valuable skills and start to autonomously generate their own effective coping strategies, we start to decrease sessions to Bi-Weekly sessions . Eventually, Monthly maintenance sessions help clients stay on track and accountable with their progress. -
Usually, if you aren’t using health insurance to pay for your care directly, your health care provider must give you a good faith estimate of expected charges. A GFE will be provided to you 3 business days in advance of our first scheduled 45-minute intake together.
A good faith estimate should include expected charges for the scheduled healthcare items and services, including facilities fees, hospital fees, and room and board provided by the provider or facility.

Logistical Questions
-
Therapy can be life-changing for those who know what it entails and what to expect when going into it. The therapeutic experience is optimal when you are motivated to change in your life and find a therapist who’s an amazing fit with you.
-
The honest answer is as simple as - how do you feel with this therapist? Do you feel heard, validated, and feel like you can work well with this person?
You can find a therapist with all the best credentials, the right modalities, and they can be from the best rated institutions. But if they can’t hold your pain in the way you need, then it’s not a good fit. -
The simple answer is no. You can gain a lot from therapy as long as you want to understand yourself and have specific goals in mind of how you want life to be better. For example - “I want deeper relationships with my family and friends,” or “I want to understand why I’m so sad, burnt out, or irritable more often than not.”
Therapy historically has been geared toward the “medical model” and has come a long way to help individuals get back to functioning. But that’s not all therapy is.
-
Yes, I know the time, energy, and financial investment can add up!
I know that the cliche of investing in yourself is overplayed but it’s true. If you have mental health concerns that start to affect your everyday functioning, that will equate to you have less time, energy, and financial capabilities.
Therapy can help with long-lasting changes to help alleviate these mental health concerns. It’s also effective to go to therapy proactively to prevent future burnout, overwhelm, or relationship difficulties - before they become crisis situations! -
Absolutely not! I’m definitely not the best fit for everyone. This can be for a myriad of reasons from financial to you “just don’t like my vibe.” All of that is valid!
What I can offer are my direct services to those who have the means. For others, the free resources, videos, and blog posts come in clutch. Also, I’m passionate about amplifying other practitioners who are doing great things and providing low-cost/no-cost services to underserved communities.I’m happy to point people in different directions and to start them on their path toward healing.
